RiverCulture is pleased to announce MOVIES IN THE PARK, Friday June 28, from 6-10pm at Peskeomskut Park, Avenue A and Seventh Street in Turners Falls. Local electronic-pop duo Home Body will kick off the night at 6:30pm with a free performance, followed by a viewing of the 1982 movie classic E.T. the Extraterrestrial. Kids will also be able to make a “space craft.” Bring a folding chair or blanket. Rain date is scheduled for August 23. The event is free, accessible and open to the public.
MOVIES IN THE PARK is part of the Turners Falls Summer Park Series, happening from June to August at Peskeomskut Park, Unity Park, Unity Skate Park and the Great Falls Discovery Center.
