RiverCulture is pleased to announce MOVIES IN THE PARK, Friday July 12 from 6-9:30pm pm at Peskeomskut Park, Avenue A and Seventh Street in Turners Falls. Experimental jam band Immortal Jellyfish will kick off the night at 6:30pm, followed by a viewing of the 2016 Disney movie Finding Dory. Kids will also be able to make a “fish craft.” Bring a picnic and a folding chair. Rain date is scheduled for August 23. The event is free, accessible and open to the public.
MOVIES IN THE PARK is part of the Turners Falls Summer Park Series, happening from June to August at Peskeomskut Park, Unity Park, Unity Skate Park and the Great Falls Discovery Center. The next movie event will be “Cars 3" on August 16. Alternative folk-rock trio ZoKi opens.
