Friday evening shopping, December 3

On December 3 shops will offer special discounts from 5-8pm, in addition to live entertainment in breweries and restaurants. The night will be capped off with the 1947 holiday classic, Miracle on 34th Street at the Shea Theater Arts Center.

Full Beaver Moon Gathering

Dan Shears (Nulhegan Abenaki ) will discuss Eastern Woodland beadwork origins and techniques at the Full Beaver Moon Gathering, Saturday, November 20. Finished and work – in – progress pieces will be available for viewing.

NOVEMBER 27: Matt Lorenz’s vision, manifest in The Suitcase Junket, developed in the tension between the grand and the solitary. Grand in its imagery, sound, and staging. Solitary in its thrift and self-reliance. What instruments he requires, Lorenz builds from scratch and salvage. What parts five players would perform, he performs alone. The spectacle of his one-man set bears constant comparison to legends of showmanship, brilliance, madness, and invention.

The dynamic poetry/performance/art collective Exploded View, unveils “Bitter Sweet Feast” and hosts a curated community art exhibit entitled “Maintenance & Repair” beginning November 4 at The Great Falls Discovery Center in Turners Falls, MA.

Great Falls Festival

Saturday, OCTOBER 23- Bring a carved pumpkin to the Great Falls Festival, one of the largest fall festivals in Western Massachusetts. This free family event features street food, craft vendors, a 21+ beer tent and live entertainment on three stages.
